GIS Technician Required
Daemeter Consulting is an independent firm based in Bogor, Indonesia, specializing in the provision of technical services to promote responsible management of forest and agricultural landscapes. Daemeter has expertise in social and ecological dimensions of sustainability in Indonesia, with emphasis on: High conservation value identification and management - Social and cultural surveys - Public consultation and stakeholder engagement - Ecosystem mapping using remote and field based methods - Biodiversity surveys - Certification mentoring.
Daemeter Consulting is seeking a fresh graduate, who wants to make a career in GIS/RS, to join a small dynamic GIS team.
Qualifications and Qualities:
- An excellent university degree in a relevant subject.
- Advanced skills in GIS software, as a minimum ArcGIS and ER Mapper.
- Methodical, intelligent, enthusiastic, with an enquiring mind.
- A desire to build a career in GIS/RS.
- Excellent English, both written and oral.
- Familiarity in computer programming and/or scripting.
Terms of Offer:
